Bird Watching

My youngest daughter and I went in search of pelicans the other afternoon. She had a set of binoculars and I had my trusty camera. We didn’t have much luck in finding pelicans but,
we did see lots of sea gulls. This painting is of one of those gulls that sat perched on a tiny piece of rock all alone in the lake. I really enjoyed the reflection he cast into the water. It is my first sea gull painting.
